I love the Lord! I am a newlywed, but before getting married I was a single mother of two children for 24 years. I worked as an Accountant for 21 years and then God told me It was time to cut the cord. So I made one of the hardest decisions to quit my job and step out on faith to pursue my passion and open up my Event Designs business full time. Scary yes! But necessary. I am a passionate self-motivated workaholic! Since the day I became a single mother, my children were and still are my motivator. I want them to see me “walking the talk.” I pursued my BS in Finance with my son in one hand and my book in another. I want them to know they can achieve whatever they put their minds to.
Opening my event business gave me the courage to change course and follow my passion. I want my children to know that all things are possible if they just believe. As for my events, I love creating all things beautiful. I get an opportunity to fully allow my God-given gift of creativity to transform a space. Even though it’s hard work, it doesn’t feel like it. Especially when I see the end results of turning a blank dull space into a "Wow! This is beautiful!" space. Seeing my client’s faces light up motivates and challenges me to raise the bar each time. This type of pressure I love, it gives me fuel to execute elegant events!
